Branch

Specify uniquely identifying a branch where BOM is used

Active

This indicator controls active BOM.

BomMaterial

Parent material for which BOM needs to be created

BomType

This key defines the area (such as Asset Maintenance, Sales and Destruction or production) where a BOM can be used.        

Description

Short text which describes the whole BOM.

Version

Identifies one BOM in a BOM group

Version Description

This text describes a BOM version.

Base QTY

Specify Quantity to which all component quantities in a BOM relate.

UoM

Specify Unit of measure in which the base quantity of a product or assembly is entered. It is used as the base unit for all component quantities in this BOM.

Valid From

Specify the start date for the validity period of an object (such as material, BOM, or routing).

Material

Material code of the components that you enter, change or display as part of the BOM.

UoM

The unit for the component quantity

ComponentQty

Quantity of the component, which is entered in relation to the base quantity of the product.

ComponentScrap

Percentage of scrap that occurs during production of the material if the material is a component.      

Warehouse

Number of the issue warehouse location from which the material is issued during the production process. Backflush is posted to this issue warehouse location if required.

Assembly

Indicator showing the component in this item has its own BOM.

Costing

Controls the extent to which a BOM item, operation, or sub-operation in the routing is included in costing.

IsGR

Indicator showing that the item is a co-product or by-product.

Phantom

This indicator controls whether the item in question is a phantom assembly.

Backflush

If a material component is backflushed, the system posts the withdrawal only upon confirmation of the operation. The withdrawal then posted automatically.
