Demand management is an important a planner. It is important to anticipate the demand from the customers and satisfy that demand by ensuring the availability of materials in a timely manner. Demand management mainly focuses on forecasting the demand and balancing it. In today’s business environment, sales, production, procurement, and distribution play a vital role. Managing the above areas will determine how effective and efficient an organization can respond to demand.

This table lists all the demand management configured parameter in the system.

Column	Description
Branch	Specify uniquely identifying a branch where demand material is used
Material Code	Specify material code for which demand needs to be created
Period	Defines the planning periods as Monthly, Weekly, or Daily.
Date From	Start of the Period for which demand needs to be created
Date To	End of the Period for which demand needs to be created
Description	Description indicates the purpose of the Demand
Active	This indicator controls active/ deactivate demand.
Planning Date	date for demand needs to be created
Qty	requirement quantity for demand needs to be created
